Forever Our Fat Boy
Fat Boy Foundation
The Fat Boy Foundation was created in memory of Jonathan Holland, who tragically passed away at just 18 years old on November 1, 2023, in an auto accident that also claimed the life of his dear friend, Addison "Addi" Shepherd. Named in the same spirit as his beloved lawn care business, Fat Boy Lawn Care, the foundation carries forward Jonathan's passion for hard work and helping others.
Jonathan built his business with dedication and grit, balancing school, family, and a growing list of happy customers. His dream was to pursue a career in the trades, and he was just months into his journey as an electrical lineman when his life was cut short.
To honor his memory, his parents, Nathan and Karen Holland, started the Fat Boy Foundation to help hardworking young people like Jonathan chase their own dreams. By offering scholarships for trade school, the foundation keeps Jonathan's legacy alive, supporting the next generation of welders, linemen, chefs, and more.
Addi's memory is honored through Addi's Adventures , a foundation started by her family to support special needs kids and young adults.
