Who Can Apply

  • Eligibility: High school seniors or recent graduates who plan to attend a trade school, technical college, or apprenticeship program.
  • Fields of Study: Any skilled trade, including but not limited to electrical lineman programs, welding, plumbing, HVAC, mechanics, culinary arts, medical tech fields, and more.
  • Location Preference: While preference may be given to students from Henderson, TX, and surrounding communities, we encourage all eligible applicants with a story and a dream to apply.

How to Apply

  1. Application Form: Download and complete the application form .
  2. Personal Essay: Submit an essay (max 500 words) answering the question: "What are your educational and professional goals?"
  3. Recommendation Letters: Provide two letters of recommendation:
    • One from a teacher.
    • One from an adult leader in an athletic, community, or volunteer program.
  4. Official Transcript: Attach your most recent official high school transcript.
  5. Proof of Enrollment: Submit documentation showing acceptance into a qualifying program.
